A POPULAR bar/diner has been given some extra sizzle as a result of a comprehensive makeover masterminded by Pacific Building.
The Windmill Tavern in Uddingston, Lanarkshire, which is a favourite with families, closed for just two weeks – guaranteeing that disruption to trade was kept to a minimum.
The business is operated under the “Sizzling Pub & Grill” brand by restaurants and bars giants Mitchells & Butlers.
The chatty and attentive staff at the Windmill pride themselves on being friendly and on giving the warmest of welcomes. They are a real part of the local community, proud to help fundraise for charities and offering their function area free of charge to local groups.
The refurbishment commenced on October 9, 2017, and was handed over to the client on October 23.
