Today is the day! It’s Pacific Building’s 20th birthday and we think we are justified in taking a little time to indulge ourselves on this landmark occasion.
Since July 15, 2005, we have grown, not just in size but in experience and achievement as we have evolved into one of the country’s best construction and fit-out businesses.
Needless to say, we want to give massive thanks to clients, suppliers and consultants who have helped us along the way and allowed us to demonstrate our expertise to them and to others.
Also, Pacific are proud to have kept on board many of the staff who were with us right at the beginning, and it is fitting to point out the fact that the company has been Employee Owned since 2019.
Down through the years, while delivering projects at international airports, restaurants, hotels, bars, sports venues, museums and more, we have adhered to a set of core values and principles that have marked us out as a company dedicated to the highest standards of professionalism.
For the 2025 birthday year, Pacific have commissioned a suite of videos that encapsulate the company’s story, and they will be complemented by media releases, social media posting, bespoke website content, one-off graphics and more.
Most recently, we enjoyed an evening with friends, clients, colleagues, suppliers and consultants at Kong in Glasgow, where we hosted a party that also raised funds for our chosen charity Include Me 2 Club, an organisation committed to creating opportunities for individuals with additional support needs, disabilities and mental health issues.
Company Chairman Brian Gallacher, who founded Pacific, said: “This is a very proud moment for me, seeing a business that started with a small team and limited client-base, developing into a trusted and respected construction company.
“As an employee-owned business, today is the defining occasion for all of our talented staff to revel in the Pacific success story.”
Speaking at Pacific’s headquarters in Hillington, near Glasgow, Managing Director Gerard McMahon said: “Usually, our professionalism stops us banging our own drum but that is going to change – just for 2025. Happy birthday to us!”
