Topgolf looks tee-rific after Pacific makeover

Pacific is delighted to have handed over an extension at Topgolf’s entertainment complex in Addlestone, Surrey.

This was one of the Texas-based company’s first complexes in the country, and all are proving to be hugely popular, attracting people to play numerous games based on variations of traditional golf.

The upgrade involved an extension to enclose a section of the driving range bays, alterations to the complex’s exterior and an extensive internal upgrade including mechanical, electrical and IT systems.

Simon Green, Topgolf Surrey‘s General Manager, praised the performance of the Pacific team – headed up by Gerry McAllister and Neil Smith – hailing it a “major” success.

He said:“I think the effort to build personal relationships was outstanding, not just from Neil, but from Gerry and everyone else I came into contact with from Pacific.

“The flexibility Neil demonstrated on site was astounding, despite some curve balls, and the desire to keep things on track and to a high standard was commendable.

“I don’t know if we got lucky having such a high quality site manager on this job, or if we received standard treatment, but in my 20 years of project management both here and in the US, I have not interacted with such a competent, helpful and friendly company.”

Topgolf’s balls are micro-chipped to record scores – hit the ball into one of the targets on the 240-yard range and compete with others for the best score.

The Surrey venue also has a nine-hole, par-three course which doubles as a Footgolf course, a bar and restaurant area and two private event spaces.

The quality of the finished products definitely differentiates Pacific.

The human approach is a massive part, wanting to work together and problem-solve.
