A COMPREHENSIVE makeover of one of the most popular family restaurants in east central Scotland has been completed by Pacific.
The four-week programme saw the Toby Carvery Lauriston Farm in Edinburgh reopen on March 7, with a sparkling new look to appeal to regular and new diners.
The project commenced with a two-week “soft-close”, followed by a full shutdown from Monday, February 24, 2020.
Included in the refurbishment were:
- Bespoke joinery, manufactured in-house by Pacific
- Plumbing
- Decoration
- Tiling
- Partitions
- Electrics
- New beer pumps
- Kitchen strip-out and replacement
- New flooring
- Refitting of the ladies’ toilets
- New drainiage
- Landscaping
- Signage
The Toby – “Home of the Roast – is regarded as the perfect spot for a midweek roast or a Sunday dinner, with delicious menus, friendly staff and welcoming interiors.
It is part of the massive stable of restaurants and bars run by Mitchells & Butlers, whose brands include All Bar One, Vintage Inns, Harvester, O’Neill’s, Nicholson’s and Miller & Carter.
The Toby Lauriston Farm is just a 12-minute drive from Exit 1 on the M8 and located within easy reach of the Muirhouse, Cramond and Barnton areas of the city.
