MILLER & Carter have opened their fourth steakhouse in Scotland – and Pacific helped served it up yet again.
The opening of the restaurant in Frederick Street, Edinburgh – just a stone’s throw from Princes Street – marked a clean sweep for Pacific, having completed M&C projects at Cramond Brig, Glasgow city centre and Newton Mearns.
The Edinburgh steak restaurant boasts the usual high-end fixtures and fittings, with mood lighting and strong colours, allied to tactile materials and fabrics.
The 11-week project involved an extensive remodelling of two separate former retail units – one a jewellers’, the other a Mexican food outlet – into one all-new restaurant.
Starting from a bare shell, Pacific created the Miller & Carter across three floors – basement washrooms, ground floor main restaurant and first floor preparation area – and handed over to the client on budget and on time at the start of April 2017.
Miller & Carter steakhouses – part of the massive Mitchells & Butlers stable – are to be found in a variety of unique buildings and locations across the UK, from historic coaching inns and beautifully restored barns to chic shopping centres and even a boat.
Pacific Managing Director Brian Gallacher said: “We are proud to have completed all four Miller & Carter steakhouses in Scotland to date.
“Yet again, we showed our professionalism and commitment as we delivered a stunning end result that does Miller & Carter proud.
“This also further cements our relationship with parent company Mitchells & Butlers and showcases our talents to them and to others.
“Our company name is synonymous with work of high-profile, high-value and high quality in desirable and high-profile locations.”
