Pacific has delivered a substantial refurbishment programme at Bupa’s Quayside Care Home in Yoker, Glasgow.
The project demanded new equipment, flooring, decoration and furnishings to provide the best quality care and comfort for residents, each of whom will participate in the makeover by choosing their own room’s colour scheme.
The works included the full refurbishment of all bedrooms and communal facilities, as well as lounges, dining areas and kitchens, in addition to the installation of wet rooms and specialist bathing equipment.
As the care home was occupied throughout the refurbishment, Pacific Building phased the works to ensure minimum disruption to residents.
Pacific Building managing director Brian Gallacher said: “We are delighted to have delivered this refurbishment project on time and on budget.
“I’m confident that we have the skills, experience and track record to complete projects to the standards expected of Bupa. We’re always committed to providing the highest quality of service for all of our clients, and hopefully this will be the beginning of a good working partnership with Bupa.”
