Following an investment in the redevelopment of their existing drive thru outlets, McDonald’s continue to work closely with Pacific Building to develop their restaurant portfolio and roll out a design revolution with their “Purely, Simply Purple” concept.
It is the newest design from McDonald’s Paris-based European Restaurant Development & Design Studio.
Pacific Building were tasked with the complete works for the drive thru in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, which was the first McDonald’s in Scotland to feature the Purely, Simply Purple design.
The refurbishment involved the strip-out of the existing unit, in addition to upgrading all of the external areas. To minimise disruption to trade, and to allow the restaurant to remain open for business throughout the refurbishment, Pacific Building developed a phasing and shift pattern system to ensure works were completed on time, within budget and to the impeccable standard that you would expect to be set by one of the biggest brands in the world.
