McDonald’s drive thru in Robroyston, Glasgow, was the burger giants’ first Scottish new build since 2003.
In addition to the construction work, Pacific Building completed the internal fit-out of the restaurant, which is based on McDonald’s “Purely Simple” ethos. Pacific have rolled out the concept across a number of McDonald’s restaurants in the UK, including Scotland’s first outlet to feature the new design in 2009.
Shortly after the restaurant opened for business on 15 December, 2010, Pacific managing director Brian Gallacher, Managing Director, said: “At Pacific, we are committed to delivering projects which not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients.
“Thanks to our experienced team, we were able to overcome the tough challenges presented by the weather conditions and deliver this new drive thru to a level of excellence required by this worldwide brand, both inside and out.”
In building industry terms, this is success – pure and simple.
