Pizza goes down a storm in Nottingham

27th November 2017

PIZZA Storm is a straightforward yet ingenious restaurant concept based on the “give the public what they love” principle.

In this case, that’s pizza, beer and ice cream. What’s not to like!

There is an added twist, however. And that is to give the diner total power over their pizza.

Pizza Storm promise to give you a pie entirely of your own choice – all for one price.

So whether you want one topping or 20, the bill will be the same.

They proudly boast a total of 50 toppings, from butternut squash to salty chorizo and fresh baby spinach – all fired up in just 180 seconds.

At the time of publication, there were only three Pizza Storms in the UK – in Newcastle, London and Nottingham.

Previously branded as Pizza Inferno, it fell to Pacific Building to help the company rebrand the Nottingham outlet as Pizza Storm.

The comprehensive makeover was all front of house and involved a two-week shut-down of the business to keep any disruption to trade to a minimum.

The project involved:

  • Strip out of existing fittings
  • Removal of all graphics and artwork
  • New counter with plumbing, lighting, venting and food preparation area, including flooring and drainiage
  • Counter seating
  • Partitions
  • Signage
  • Booths
  • Tiling
  • Heating
  • New graphics
  • Furniture
  • Fitting of ice cream and coffee machines
  • Security cameras
