One done – now Phase 2 starts at the Apex Hotel

Pacific are proud to have completed the first phase of a major project to upgrade a busy hotel in the heart of Edinburgh.

Working with new clients Apex Hotels and their professional team including quantity surveyors Cromarbrooks and architects ISA, the company delivered a comprehensive refurbishment of the four-star Waterloo Place hotel’s public areas.

Pacific have now commenced phase 2 of the upgrade, which will run for a number of weeks before completion in the autumn.

The Apex Hotel is located within a fine Georgian building, a stone’s throw from Edinburgh’s Waverley Station and handily placed for many of the city’s attractions.

The project specifically involves refurbishment and reconfiguration of public areas, bar and restaurants on a phased basis, with the hotel remaining operational throughout.

The scope of works includes floor coverings, crittall screens, building services, decoration, tiling and partitions as well as bespoke joinery items including bars, waiter stations, coffee servery and wall panels.

In addition, the main entranceway of this listed building and reception desk are to be refreshed – again, while the hotel operates normally.
