THE all-new, two-storey McDonald’s restaurant constructed by Pacific Building at Toryglen in Glasgow has opened to the public.
Handover to the clients took place on-site on Friday, July 9, 2021, and they have promised to “support the workers of the night time economy in the local area” by opening 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
McDonald’s are also hoping to attract visitors to evening events at Hampden Park to their new restaurant.
The striking new building is located within the car park of the existing Asda supermarket and showcases the latest technology and features specified by the fast-food giants.
These include an interactive play area for children, as well as table service, self-service kiosks with contactless payments, touch screens and double drive-thru lanes.
The new restaurant in Toryglen is expected to create 65 much-needed new jobs in the area.
Pacific have been working with McDonald’s for more than 15 years and have delivered several new-build and refurbishment projects for them.
