A funky new Giraffe diner has been created by Pacific Building at Edinburgh International Airport.
The visually striking restaurant is serving up laid back brunches, quick bites and full-on feasts to travellers from its airside location next to Gate 6..
The 179-cover restaurant also offers a takeaway service, with a dedicated grab-and-go area for passengers wishing to take food aboard their plane.
This is the seventh Giraffe at UK airports, after Birmingham, Gatwick, Heathrow T3, Heathrow T5, Manchester and Manchester T2.
Serving up beloved international cuisine, from Asian street food to classic American burgers, Giraffe occupies the former Barburrito unit.
The project to create it involved the complete strip-out of the former Barburrito along with the neighbouring WH Smith bookshop.
Giraffe was then fitted out in accordance with brand requirements.
Scope of works included partitions and ceilings, flooring, MEP installation, bar front, kitchen, servery along with bespoke joinery items, including ceiling rafts, bar and servery units.
Several items were also refurbished and repurposed from existing restaurants such as planters and waiter stations.
Giraffe is part of our ongoing work with client The Restaurant Group, which operates a range of leading food and beverage brands across travel hubs and the high street.
