McDonald’s, Bridge of Don

ONE of the most comprehensive refurbishments ever carried out by Pacific for McDonald’s has been completed in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.

The 34-day project involved extensive works inside and out, and came with a budget just short of £1million.

Starting on May 17, 2018, the work was completed by the scheduled go-live date of June 19, thanks to seven-day, 12-hour shift patterns combined with Pacific’s vast experience of delivering projects for McDonald’s.

The project involved:

  • A new roof to the existing formation
  • Drainiage
  • Interior walls
  • New kitchen
  • Signage
  • Graphics
  • Sound system
  • Tiling
  • Manager’s office
  • Doors
  • Booths and windows
  • Electrics
  • Landscaping
  • New Drive Thru with associated features
  • Partitions
  • Ducting
  • IT systems
  • Ceiling tiles
  • Flooring throguhout
  • Counter raft
  • Panelling

The Bridge of Don branch of McDonald’s is situated on Broadfold Road, and serves customers arriving from surrounding localities, namely Bridge of Don, Danestone, Grandholm and Persley.

It is equally popular with locals and visitors to the area and occupies a high-profile position on one of Aberdeen’s busiest roads.

McDonald’s Bridge of Don case study

I have had the pleasure of working with Pacific Building over the last 11 years, with respect to refurbishment works to the McDonald’s Restaurants Estate across the UK (though predominantly in Scotland).

I have no hesitation in recommending Pacific Building for their professionalism and dedication to delivering projects of quality.
