PACIFIC have completed an extensive makeover and rebranding of Glasgow International Airport’s executive lounge.
Now called the Upperdeck Lounge, the former Skylounge offers entertainment for all ages, complimentary drinks and snacks and play areas – all within the contemporary lounge surroundings.
The refurbishment coincides with the summer 2015 holiday season and sees an airy, open-plan design allied to high-quality fixtures and fittings.
One of the striking features of the makeover is the colourful and tastefully designed children’s play area.
The impressive facility also overlooks the runways at GLA and offers facilities to business travellers, including free wifi and complimentary newspapers.
On-screen minute-to-minute flight information is available as are baby changing facilities and disabled access.
The project took just four weeks to complete and involved the removal of ceilings, installation of new furniture, mechanical and electrical, work, ventilation, fire alarms, chilled water, ductwork alterations, wrapping to toilets and existing doors, decorations, floor finishes, glass screens and new doors.
