TEN years ago today (yesterday, actually, to be precise) Lauren Gray joined Pacific Building – and how time has flown!
The then Lauren Schoolar started with the company as an Office Administrator – and now this Monday, February, 15, 2021, we all want to say to our Head of Human Resources and Administration: “Happy anniversary, Lauren.”
She has seen many ups and no downs (well, she would say that) in her spell with the company and has made strong and lasting friendships and relations with her colleagues and with fellow workers in our client businesses.
Our very own party girl has managed to combine her love of life with commitment to the business and to herself via continuing professional development.
Lauren, through dedicated study, is now a BSc in Business and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
She also got married (to David) in 2019 and celebrated her birthday at the same time – proving she does nothing by halves.

“She has now joined the ranks of many of Pacific’s team who have been loyal to the business for a decade or more.
“Her dedication to the business has been evident from the start and her positive attitude is reflected in her relationship with her colleagues.
“Graduating with a degree and pursuing additional professional qualifications while in a full-time role underlines her commitment and drive to succeed.”
Company Managing Director Gerard McMahon added: “Having just joined the business in early 2020, Lauren’s support and input through this initial period has been invaluable.
“Her communication skills in particular have helped the Pacific team stay connected through the difficult recent period and help lay the foundations for future successes.”
