THE result of the makeover at O’Neill’s Irish bar in Glasgow’s Merchant Square are stunning, as the photos below show.
The pub/diner is one of 45 in the United Kingdom and is part of the Mitchells & Butlers stable, the country’s largest operator of restaurants and bars.
At O’Neill’s – home of great “craic” – the food is hearty, the people are friendly and the mood is relaxed. Plus, they host live music and big-match sport on TV.
Some notable features of the refurbishment included: the sanding and staining of the striking timber floor, new signage, floor and wall tiling, the refurbishment of the bar tops and new beer fonts, as well as decoration, plastering and an upgrade to the ventilation system.
