THE canopy at Glasgow Airport International Arrivals has been removed after being in position for the best part of 20 years.
This is the most striking sign that work on the new International Arrivals hall has begun in earnest and that Pacific Building are speeding ahead with their share of vital work to revamp the airport in advance of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the Ryder Cup later in the year.
For many travellers, the International Arrivals area is the first glimpse they get of Scotland, so first impressions are everything.
Therefore, Pacific are proud to be delivering key parts of the multi-million-pound makeover that will see Glasgow live up to its reputation as a modern, welcoming, sophisticated city that has truly international aspirations.
Interior progress is also being made at a pace – as can be seen by the photos, which show the International Arrivals hall (interior and exterior), the World Duty Free and the WDF back-of-house area.
