Pacific Building have underlined their credentials as contractors of choice for high-profile hotel refurbishment projects with the opening of the iconic Seaton House at the home of golf in St Andrews.
The five-star boutique hotel occupies a prime location next to the first tee and 18th green of the Old Course and dates back to 1864.
Featuring the use of the absolute best materials, fixtures and fittings, the multi-million-pound makeover exudes elegance and Scottish heritage, showcasing timber flooring and oak-panelled walls.
Pacific partnered with US-based owners Links Collection, hotel management company Valor Hospitality, project managers Fitzsimons and designers Upperworth Studios and Unwin Jones on the project that started in March 2024.
Seaton House offers 42 luxury bedrooms including six stunning suites and three junior suites. Guests can choose a sea or garden view, with five rooms benefitting from their own private terrace.
The hotel also houses an outpost of famous Edinburgh seafood restaurant Ondine – overlooking West Sands beach – run by chef Roy Brett.
