PACIFIC watched proudly as The Fashion Palace – the company’s latest project at Glasgow International Airport – was opened.
Doing the honours by cutting the ribbon were Fin Casey, of store operators LS Travel Retail, and Francois Bourienne, Commercial Director at the airport.
The Fashion Place features an exclusive collection of designer brands under one roof at prices up to 15 per cent cheaper than the high street.
The 2706 sq ft shop was fully fitted out by Pacific in just five weeks and came in right on budget at £330,000.
The store appeals to male and female shoppers who can enjoy a relaxed open-plan retail space housing branded black walls, display tables and shelves that provide a tactile experience.
The famous brands on sale – including Lacoste, Ted Baker, Tommy Hilfiger, Superdry, Barbour, Armani Jeans and Hugo Boss – sit alongside well-known Scottish names such as Harris Tweed and Johnston’s of Elgin.
Mr Bourienne said: “The Fashion Place will bring a variety of fantastic designer brands to the airport, which are sure to be of interest to fashion-savvy Glaswegian shoppers and visitors alike.”
Mr Case, of LS Travel Retail – who already operate Victoria’s Secret and Discover Glasgow at the airport – said: “The Fashion Place really looks the part. It’s fantastic to have a third store at Glasgow Airport. We have high hopes for this opening.”
