PACIFIC managing director Brian Gallacher was honoured to present one of the prizes at the annual Glasgow Airport Awards.
The glittering event – recognising the dedication and hard work of the people who are employed there – took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow on Friday, February 19, 2016.
Pacific Building sponsored the Customer Service Team of the Year Award, which recognises the staff who have demonstrated excellent customer service skills or expertise.
Brian presented the trophy to the winners, Taxi Desk and VisitScotland.
A spokesman for the airport, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, said: “While this may be two separate teams, they adopt a real partnership approach and are a perfect example of the seamless, cross-campus, customer-centric approach that Glasgow Airport has at the core of its business.
“Together, the people who work on the desks provide excellent customer service but also go above and beyond what is expected of them – not just occasionally but every single day.”
Brian said: “I thought the event was a great success and overall a fantastic night – everyone at our table and everyone I spoke with seemed to have had a great time.”
“And, of course, it was great to be there as the airport – with whom we have a longstanding relationship – celebrates its 50th birthday.”
