The project to upgrade the Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood for clients Gateway Hotels involves the refurbishment of 158 guest bedrooms and associated corridors including flooring, decoration, furniture and bathroom upgrades.
It is being delivered on a phased floor-by-floor basis that maximises available keys for the hotel while allowing an efficient delivery programme.
The project also includes an extensive renovation of the hotel’s public areas including the reception, lobby bar, lounges, conference centre and restaurants.
Pacific’s in-house joinery team were involved in the manufacture and install of several pieces – particularly in the public areas – including new breakfast bar, conference reception desk, upgrade of bar, shelving and grab-and-go unit.
The £6m project commenced in June 2023 with overall completion scheduled for May this year.
