Driving it thru for McDonald’s

McDONALD’S restaurant chain have embarked on an ambitious and massive re-imaging programme across their drive thru estate utilising a design concept from the Paris based Restaurant Design Studio.

Having completed the company’s first Scottish centre of excellence in Govan, Glasgow, Pacific have been awarded the contract to commence rolling out this concept across sections of Scotland and northern England.

Pacific have developed a complex phasing and shift pattern in order to minimise disruption and allow the units to be fully refurbished both externally and internally with minimum loss of revenue and trading.

Works are required to be completed within a three-week time scale and the finished product transforms the units, almost beyond recognition.

“These challenging projects, with multidiscipline trades in live environments phased in fast-track style, are perfect for our team who always aim to delight our customers and create innovative solutions,” said Brian Gallacher Pacific’s MD.
