Pacific had to fit out to an extremely tight deadline a much-loved McDonald’s restaurant in East Kilbride, on the outskirts of Glasgow.
This diner is situated on one of Scotland’s busiest road networks between Queensway and East Kilbride Expressway and, as a result, it has a reputation for being extremely popular.
As longstanding contractors for McDonald’s, Pacific drew on their unmatched experience of delivering restaurants for the fast-food chain on time and budget, whatever the demands of the project.
A comprehensive makeover was commissioned, and it involved almost every aspect of the restaurant, from herring-bone flooring to furniture, tiling, self-order kiosks, TV screens, electronic tablets, lighting, new kitchen and decor. In fact, the visual scheme is called the Alphabet Theme and this is only the second McDonald’s in Scotland to feature the cafe-bistro-style image.
The fast-food outlet closed for only four weeks and reopened to the public in the middle of May, 2017. The crowds are back lovin’ it as the restaurant continues to provide its customers with what they love best. The fixtures and fittings are of high quality and, together with the new Alphabet theme, impart a less hurried, more sophisticated ambience to the diner, which remains a hot favourite with locals and those passing through the area.
