PACIFIC Building played a key role in the massive £17million revamp of Glasgow International Airport ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games and Ryder Cup. The most striking features of the makeover are a new international arrivals area and World Duty Free extension.
Liaison with numerous partner agencies and stakeholders was key as Pacific drew on their vast experience of delivering to deadline and to budget and with minimal disruption to trade, the comfort of travellers and essential airport operations. The project was commenced towards the end of 2013 and was handed over to the clients in summer, 2014. In detail, Pacific completed the following projects:
