Pacific had to fit out to an extremely tight deadline a well-established bar/restaurant for Mitchells & Butlers plc, the UK’s leading operators of pubs and restaurants.
The project threw up a series of demanding requirements, both in terms of contract details and the actual delivery of a project which involved a historically sensitive and significant building.
Pacific drew on their vast experience of delivering to deadline and to budget and on their familiarity with the client company, having successfully completed numerous contracts for them over a number of years. The project was commenced on January 9, 2016 and handed over to the client on February 1 – just three weeks later.
Pacific were conscious of the fact that for Browns to continue to hold its own in its prestigious listed location at the south side of George Square in Glasgow, the finished article had to strike the correct visual appeal.
Browns reopened after a short period of closure to a positive reaction from its customer base, to whom it continues to serve a range of dining and drinking options from a stylish, iconic location in one of the UK’s most vibrant cities.
