Pacific had to strip out an empty unit at Edinburgh International Airport and fit it out as an all-new All Bar One restaurant and bar for Mitchells Butlers plc, the UK’s leading operators of pubs and restaurants, whose extensive stable of brand names also includes O’Neill’s, Browns and Harvester, and whose annual turnover from 1600 outlets runs to nearly £2billion.
This was the first All Bar One to be opened at an airport in Scotland and only the third in the United Kingdom.
The deadline was tight, and operations had to be sympathetic to the operation of Scotland’s busiest airport, with frequent fluctuations in the movement of people across the airside area.
Liaison with partner agencies was key as Pacific drew on their vast experience of delivering to deadline and to budget in busy public areas and at international airports. The project was commenced in August, 2016, and handed over to the clients at the end of September, 2016.
Whether it’s brunch, lunch or dinner, All Bar One prides itself on delivering a high-quality dining experience to customers, either at airports or on the United Kingdom high street. The combination of the quality of the materials used, the striking visual signature and the ambience they generate ensures a memorable experience for customers.
