GREENBACK and Fullarton are two separate Bupa care homes situated in the Ayr Road, Irvine. Both are close to all of the amenities of Irvine town centre and not far from the local beach.
Surrounded by large, landscaped gardens, complete with furnished patio area and Japanese-themed sensory garden, this is the perfect home for those who want peace and quiet in a seaside location.
Discretion was key as Pacific refurbished the homes that provide elderly care in a warm, safe environment and across a wide spectrum of areas, 24 hours a day.
Both homes continued to function as normal while Pacific gave a makeover to all 90 rooms, which house elderly and infirm people in need of high levels of care and attention
Close liaison and planning with client company Bupa was key as Pacific drew on their vast experience of working in sensitive environments and delivering to deadline and to budget. The project was commenced towards the end of January, 2015, and was handed over to the clients in May – 18 weeks later.
All materials had to meet care home specifications as each and every room was refurbished, together with extensive work to corridors, lounges, bathrooms and ancillary and support areas.
Pacific were conscious of the fact that a high level of finish was critical in order to meet specified requirements, while at the same time delivering a “homely” feel to areas frequented by residents.
Both Greenbank and Fullarton continue to provide a safe and welcoming home environment for people of varying degrees of health and mobility. The rooms all have their own private ensuite bathroom facilities, 24-hour call system, TV and telephone points and a smoke detector.
