All Bar One is the Best Bar None

THE creation of the first All Bar One at an airport in Scotland – and only the third in the United Kingdom – is now complete in Edinburgh and it has been highly praised by the client.

Pacific took just 10 weeks to finish the £1,200,000 project on the site of the former Boots the Chemist in the airside area beyond security.

The unit was stripped bare in preparation for the works, which comprised a comprehensive fit-out to the usual high standards set by Pacific.

Client company Mitchells & Butlers – the UK’s largest bar and restaurant company and the operators of the All Bar One brand – expressed their delight at the “brilliant” project.

A spokesman for the Birmingham-based plc said: “The bar looks fantastic! Thank you for a superb project! We love the new design features, particularly the lighting and some of the screening, and it looks like this will be a great addition to the brand!

“Thanks to Pacific for a brilliant project.”

Pacific Managing Director Brian Gallacher said: “Kind words and thoroughly deserved appreciate for all our hard work and quality in the delivery of the All Bar One fit-out, in a very challenging enviroment.

“I, too, would like to pass on my thanks to our teams for all their hard work.”

This is the first All Bar One at an airport in Scotland. There are two at Birmingham International Airport – one landslide, the other airside.

The chain of stylish bar/restaurants with a metropolitan feel boasts more than 50 outlets across the United Kingdom.

Earlier in 2016, we revealed that the project was under way with the clearing of the former Boots premises.
