  • We were delighted to launch our new premises on Thursday 6thOctober – with Scottish Enterprise CEO Lena Wilson cutting the ribbon to officially declare the offices open. The newly refurbished Head Office, situated in Earl Haig Road, Hillington, acts as a showcase for the high quality of work and craftsmanship that goes into each of our projects. In line with our recent expansion, the new premises also offers additional space for future growth: comprising of offices and meeting rooms occupying 5,000 square feet and an adjoining workshop area extending to a further 3,000 square feet.

  • Pacific Building has relocated from their existing Paisley location to new larger premises in Hillington Park Glasgow.

    The new facility (which Pacific have fully refurbished and fitted out) comprises of offices and meeting rooms occupying 5,000 square feet and an adjoining storage / workshop area extending to a further 3,000 square feet.

  • Pacific Delivers Refurbishment Project at Quayside Care Home

    The refurbishment comprised of new equipment, flooring, decoration and furnishings to provide the best quality and comfort of care for Residents at Quayside, who will all actively participate in the refurbishment by each choosing their own room’s colour scheme.

  • Pacific Building has been selected by BAA to deliver a substantial retiling project at Glasgow Airport.

  • Pacific Building have delivered the first new build restaurant in Scotland of 2011 for McDonald’s. The new drive thru restaurant in Nerston, East Kilbride, opened for business on the 14th January. The opening of the East Kilbride restaurant follows that of the new Robroyston drive thru delivered by Pacific last month.

    The building is partially modular with elements being manufactured off site to improve quality and reduce time spent on site. The main structure is a steel frame clad with a composite panel and finished externally with a mix of trespa panels, timber and stone.

  • Pacific Building are delighted to announce the completion of McDonald’s brand new Drive Thru in Robroyston. The new build restaurant opened for business today, 15th December 2010. This is McDonald’s first Scottish new build since 2003.

    In addition to the construction work, Pacific Building completed the internal fit out of the restaurant, which is based on McDonald’s “Purely Simple” concept.  Pacific Building has rolled out the concept across a number of McDonald’s restaurants in the UK, including Scotland’s first outlet to feature the new design in 2009.

  • New Client win brings Refurbishment Project at Quayside Care Home

    As part of a £2 million investment programme to refurbish all of their Scottish Care Homes by 2013, Bupa have appointed Pacific Building to complete the refurbishment of the 180 bed Quayside Care Home in Yoker, with a project value of £700,000.

  • Pacific Building are delighted to have been appointed by Greggs Plc to fit out three of their stores at Cameron Toll, Edinburgh, Dumfries and Gourock.

    The works will involve fit outs of two new stores for Greggs, in addition to the refit of an existing store. Each project will be completed in under a fortnight, utilising fast track construction techniques and drawing on their vast experience of working in live environments to deliver on time and within budget.

  • Pacific Building are delighted to have been appointed to construct two McDonald’s Drive Thru Outlets in Robroyston, Glasgow, and Nerston, East Kilbride – the first Scottish new build restaurants for McDonald’s since 2003.

    With ground now broken on both sites, the restaurants will each take 12 weeks to complete – including the internal fit out. Using a new style of prefabricated steel components, assembled offsite for speed of construction, Pacific Building will employ innovative methods of working to ensure that both outlets are finished within the timescales expected.
